Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly invested in a premium land parcel in Ayodhya, with the announcement being officially made by real estate company The House of Abhinandan Lodha on Thursday. The actor has purchased the property as part of the company’s upscale plotted development project. According to the official statement released by the company, the transaction is valued at approximately Rs 3.31 crore.

The land parcel measures around 2,134 square feet and is situated within The Sarayu, a sprawling 75-acre premium plotted development located along the scenic banks of the Sarayu River. The project is being positioned as a luxury spiritual and lifestyle destination, blending modern living spaces with Ayodhya’s deep cultural and religious significance.

Kapoor said, "I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling. Ayodhya is deeply rooted in our history and is a critical part of our cultural fabric. This land at The Sarayu became my gateway to ensuring this becomes a part of my legacy for my family."

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has also made significant investments in Ayodhya’s growing real estate market. According to a Hindustan Times report, Bachchan purchased a 25,000 sq ft plot in the city in 2025 for around Rs 40 crore. He had earlier invested Rs 14.5 crore in The Sarayu project and also acquired a massive 54,000 sq ft land parcel registered under a trust named after his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up to play Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited film Ramayana. The first installment of the epic saga is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release.

The actor also has Love & War in the pipeline, where he will share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
