Plot Of The Netflix Film Kartavya
The film follows cop Pawan, played by Saif Ali Khan, who gets assigned to protect a journalist. However, she is murdered in front of him, putting his career at risk. Determined to avoid suspension, Pawan sets out to catch the killers within seven days.
Alongside the murder investigation, the story also explores caste politics and honour killing through another subplot involving a village couple. Although the premise feels intense and socially relevant, viewers felt the screenplay became predictable after a strong beginning.
