The gritty world of Mirzapur is expanding beyond streaming as the franchise heads to the big screen. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, who previously helmed key episodes of the series, the film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment banner. After three seasons of intense power struggles and betrayals, Prime Video India has raised excitement by unveiling a new poster, teasing a bigger and more visually charged chapter in the underworld saga.

Mirzapur: The Film is set to release on September 4, 2026.
The newly released poster of Mirzapur reimagines its signature lawless chaos in a stark desert setting, where a convoy of jeeps races across the dunes, leaving trails of dust and destruction. One chilling visual shows a body being dragged behind a vehicle, underscoring the franchise’s brutal tone. With its blazing sky, isolation and intense imagery, the film promises a bigger, more cinematic scale while staying true to its raw, violent roots.
Principal photography for Mirzapur: The Film was completed in February 2026, a milestone confirmed by lead actors Shweta Tripathi and Ali Fazal. One of the biggest highlights is the return of Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya, despite the character’s apparent death in Season 2.
