Kritika Kamra Reveals Why She Waited To Announce Relationship With Gaurav Kapur: 'If You’re Going To Get Married...'

Actors Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur tied the knot in March this year in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony, marking a new chapter in their relationship. The couple had been dating for several years but chose to keep their romance largely out of the public eye. It wasn’t until December 2025 that Kritika surprised fans by officially revealing their relationship on Instagram, making it public for the first time. Speaking about the decision, Kritika shared that maintaining privacy was a conscious choice, allowing them to nurture their bond away from constant attention and speculation until they felt ready to share it with the world.

Kritika said in a conversation with Hindustan Times, "It was absolutely intentional because I wanted it to be. I’ve been so guarded about my life, my personal life, all my life actually. I’ve literally grown up in the public space, I started acting when I was 18. In the beginning, I didn’t even know these things, because you’re reckless."

"You say anything, you do anything. Everything is on the internet forever. I learned it the hard way that there’s some things that have to be just your own, and you kind of have to protect that and so many interviews and stuff people would ask me about my relationship status when will you get married," she further added.
