Dhurandhar 2, titled as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has been making headlines not just in India but also internationally. The film’s portrayal of real-life inspired characters has sparked discussions across borders. Recently, Noreen Aslam, wife of real-life figure Aslam Chaudhary, shared her views on the film and its characters. She particularly spoke about Sanjay Dutt’s performance, while also pointing out certain aspects she felt were not accurately shown.

Noreen Aslam Praises Sanjay Dutt

In a podcast conversation, Noreen Aslam appreciated Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal of her husband’s character. She said her husband was a dedicated and sincere officer whose work gained international recognition. Praising the actor, she shared, “Jab wo gaadi ke paas khade hokar nazar uthaate hain, to ek pal ke liye laga jaise Aslam hi saamne hon.” She added that his performance felt very real in that moment. Previously, Noreen also revealed that Aslam was a big fan of Sanjay Dutt since he had seen him in the film Khalnayak.

Raises Concerns Over Certain Scenes

While she praised the acting, Noreen also criticised some scenes shown in the film. She objected to sequences involving fake encounters and harm to children. According to her, the makers should have consulted her, police officials, or journalists to present a more balanced and accurate story.

Claims Character Lacked Depth

Noreen mentioned that her husband had often said a film would be made about his life. However, after watching parts of it, she felt that his personality and achievements were not fully explored. She believed the character needed more depth and a fair representation.

Lyari Shown In Exaggerated Way

She also pointed out that the Lyari area was portrayed exaggeratedly. According to her, the depiction was larger than reality and could have been handled more realistically to match the true story.

Noreen revealed that she had not watched the full film but only a few clips. Speaking about the abusive language used, she said it may not suit family audiences, but such language is common in police environments and fits the characters.
