Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is reportedly all set to return to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2026. The actress, who has been attending the global event regularly in recent years, is preparing for another stylish appearance. As the festival approaches, she is reportedly finalising her outfits. Her presence continues to highlight Indian talent on an international platform.

Jacqueline Fernandez’s Cannes Comeback

According to a Hindustan Times report, a close source said that Jacqueline is currently planning her looks before heading to France. The 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 12 to May 23, 2026. Fans are eagerly waiting to see her red carpet appearances this year.

Last year, Jacqueline was honoured by the Red Sea Film Foundation under its Women in Cinema initiative. She was among six global personalities recognised for their contribution to cinema. The honour celebrated her efforts in representing South Asian artists internationally.

Jacqueline had also attended the festival in 2024, where she represented India. During that visit, she was seen at the premiere of The Substance. Her appearances at Cannes have consistently drawn attention for both fashion and global representation.

Film Director Payal Kapadia Will Serve As Jury President

Filmmaker Payal Kapadia will serve as the jury president for the 65th Critics’ Week. This section is an independent part of the Cannes Film Festival. Kapadia will be joined by international jury members, including Ama Ampadu and Theodore Pellerin. Critics’ Week 2026 will run from May 13 to May 21.

Kapadia’s recent Grand Prix win for All We Imagine As Light has further strengthened India’s position at the festival.
