PVR INOX is bringing the global Kpop wave to Indian theatres with exclusive live screenings and re-broadcasts of BTS’s Arirang world tour. The cinematic event will feature live performances from Goyang on April 11 and Tokyo on April 18, along with select re-broadcasts, giving fans an immersive big-screen concert experience.
The screenings will take place across more than 20 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad and Guwahati, catering to the growing demand from the BTS ARMY in India. The Arirang screenings follow the success of previous K-pop concert films by PVR INOX, including Yet to Come in Cinemas and Burn the Stage, both of which saw strong turnout and sold-out shows nationwide.
Aamer Bijli, Lead Specialist at PVR INOX, said the initiative reflects a growing shift towards 'experiential cinema', where audiences are increasingly drawn to immersive, shared big-screen experiences beyond traditional films.

Hours before BTS took the stage for their world tour Arirang, their first concert in four years, thousands of fans had already gathered outside Goyang Stadium, braving the rain with excitement. By Thursday afternoon, the area was packed with ARMY members dressed in purple raincoats and holding light sticks, posing for photos near the massive tour poster. Despite the drizzle, the atmosphere stayed lively, with fans smiling, chatting, and soaking in the long-awaited moment. As soon as the band members- V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, Jin, Suga and RM made an electrifying entry, singing Hooligan, ARMYs went berserk, as evident from the photos and videos doing rounds on social media.
