Actress Ashwini Reddy alias Ashu Reddy, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss Telugu 3 and Bigg Boss Non-Stop (2022), has landed in controversy after a fraud case was filed against her. The complaint involves allegations of cheating a man worth over Rs 9 crore linked to marriage promises. While the accusations have created a buzz online, the actress has firmly denied all claims and warned of strict legal action against false reports.

Fraud Case Filed On Ashu Reddy By NRI Engineer

As per reports by Telangana Today, an NRI engineer named, Y V Dharmendra, has lodged a complaint against Ashu Reddy at Hyderabad Central Crime Station, accusing her of financial fraud. As per the complaint, he allegedly transferred a large amount of money to the actress over a period of time. The case claimed that the total value involved exceeds Rs 9.35 crore.

Allegations Of Money And Valuables Transfer

The complainant has stated that apart from cash, he also gave gold and other expensive items. He further alleged that some of these assets were registered in Ashu Reddy’s name. The transactions, according to him, were made during their relationship based on trust and future commitments.

Marriage Promises And Dispute

According to the complaint, discussions about marriage had progressed significantly, and certain rituals were also performed. However, the situation later changed, and the wedding did not take place. The complainant claimed that when he tried to approach her family, he was denied support, leading to the dispute.

Actress Responds To Allegations

Reacting to these accusations, Ashu Reddy has strongly rejected all accusations. She took to social media to clarify her stand and warned against spreading misinformation. She wrote, “Without my consent, any news or false information that is passing through, will be taken a severe legal action. Respect.”
