Allu Arjun Stampede Case: The Nampally Court adjourned the hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case during the screening of Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule in December 2024. The actor was arrested after Revathi, a 35-year-old lady, died, and her 8-year-old son, Sritej, was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries in this stampede.
Allu Arjun Appears Virtually In Pushpa 2 Stampede Case
Allu Arjun was asked to make an in-person appearance, but he did so virtually after requesting permission, according to ANI. Additionally, the Telugu star's legal team communicated that the actor will take part in the hearings virtually rather than in person.
"He will appear virtually before the Nampally Court after the court issued a summons requiring him to appear in person today. Allu Arjun had sought permission, citing his ongoing movie shoot in Mumbai," advocate Bhanu Chander said while speaking to the press.

The development came after Telugu star Allu Arjun and other defendants were summoned by a municipal court to appear in person on June 22 in a case involving a woman who died in a stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere.
Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 Stampede Case
A charge sheet against 23 people was previously submitted to the court by the Hyderabad police. All of the accused, including Allu Arjun, were subsequently summoned by the court to appear on June 22. The charge sheet listed Arjun as accused No. 11, while the theatre's owner, partners, manager, lower-balcony in-charge, and gatekeeper were listed as accused Nos. 1 through 10.
Allu Arjun fans flocked to see the actor at the Pushpa 2 screening, which led to the stampede. He was taken into custody after the 35-year-old woman died and her 8-year-old son was hurt in the stampede during the Pushpa 2 screening on December 4, 2024.

Allu Arjun was detained in connection with the case on December 13, 2024, and was released the following day after being granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. Later on, he was given regular bail.
The family received financial support from Allu Arjun and his father, producer Allu Aravind, who also paid for their medical expenses. Additionally, a few Pushpa team members offered financial assistance.
