Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Bhooth Bangla has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. Before granting approval, the board suggested several changes, including removing certain words and trimming scenes. The makers agreed to all modifications, leading to a shorter runtime. The film is now ready for release with its final approved version.

CBFC Certification and Guidelines To Bhooth Bangla

The Central Board of Film Certification granted the film a U/A 16+ rating, allowing viewers below 16 to watch it with parental guidance. However, the certification came after specific instructions to make edits in the content.

The film was submitted for review on April 2. After watching it, on April 11, the examining committee asked the makers to replace an objectionable word at the 26th minute. Similar words were also modified in other parts of the film.

Following all edits, the film’s duration was reduced by over 10 minutes. The final runtime now stands at 2 hours, 44 minutes, and 52 seconds, shorter than the original version submitted.
