Box office clashes often impact films unnecessarily, which is why avoiding them is always seen as a positive move in the industry. The latest example involves Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 and Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. According to reports, Ajay and Akshay mutually decided to avoid a clash between their upcoming family entertainers.

As a result, Dhamaal 4 has reportedly shifted its release from July 4 to July 17, giving Welcome To The Jungle, which releases on June 26, a clear theatrical window.

HT City cited a source saying, "Ajay and Akshay have been friends for as long as they have been massive stars. They both produce films too apart from acting, and understand how important it is to allow every film to have sufficient breathing space. Which is why the discussion went off smoothly and they understood that the audience would need a gap between two comedies."

Both Dhamaal 4 and Welcome To The Jungle are mounted on a grand scale and feature massive ensemble casts, making them among the most anticipated comedy entertainers in Bollywood. With both films belonging to the family-comedy genre and backed by popular franchises, there was concern that a box office clash could affect their overall business and audience reach.

Amid this, the decision to avoid a direct clash has drawn attention within the industry. Reports suggest that Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar mutually agreed on creating enough breathing space between the two releases, reflecting a sense of camaraderie and professional understanding.
