Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 2: Karuppu saw a significant increase on its second day at the box office, with Tamil stars Suriya and Trisha Krishnan making a strong comeback. Due to the action drama's strong word-of-mouth, the second box office collections in Tamil Nadu and other regions witnessed over 50% growth on Saturday.

Karuppu, which was directed by RJ Balaji, opened with a net revenue of Rs 15.50 crore, or about Rs 18 crores gross in India. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Tamil film made Rs 23.40 crore at the box office on its second day.

Suriya's theatrical comeback gained new momentum, thanks to the successful opening after an uneven run at the box office in previous years. The Tamil actor's fans have reacted favourably to the Karuppu, particularly in light of the uncertainties surrounding its release earlier this week.

Karuppu vs Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collection

Karuppu with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do at the box office, which is lagging in the race and has managed to earn Rs 7.5 crore since its release.

Additionally, the Tamil movie has overtaken Day 59 box office collection of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, which earned Rs 30.65 lakh, and the day 30 collection of Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla, which stood at Rs 1.40 crore.

Karuppu Worldwide Box Office Collection

Karuppu collected Rs 10 crore on the second day, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 21 crore so far. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 66.04 crore at the box office. 

Suriya, who plays a lawyer in Karuppu, is a fighter who also knows how to prevail in court. The screenplay for Karuppu, which is directed by RJ Balaji, was written by Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, TS Gopi Krishnan, and Karan Aravind Kumar. The production company is Dream Warrior Pictures.

The Tamil movie also starred Swasika, Indrans, Yogi Babu, Sshivada, Natty Subramaniam, and Supreeth Reddy.
