After Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan Returns In A Cop Avatar In Netflix’s Kartavya | Cast Revealed

Saif Ali Khan In Kartavya: Netflix India has an exciting lineup of 2026 web series and movies for the OTT lovers. The streamer on Tuesday officially confirmed titles along with their cast, first look, teaser and key project details. Among them is Kartavya, an investigative drama starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The actor marks his return as a police officer after his successful portrayal of Sartaj Singh in the hit Netflix series Sacred Games.

Saif Ali Khan's First Look From Kartavya

During an event in Mumbai, Netflix announced its new Indian original titles. Kartavya was confirmed with the release of its first look character posters, setting the tone for the upcoming film.

In the first look posters, Saif Ali Khan is seen in an intense police officer role, embarking on a gripping investigation, while grappling with personal conflict.

The mystery thriller also stars Rasika Duggal, Sanjay Mishra, Saurabh Dwivedi, Manish Chaudhari and Zakir Hussain.

Announcing the project on Instagram, Netflix wrote, "Dharm aur karm ke yuddh mein, kya kartavya jeet payega? Watch Kartavya, coming soon, only on Netflix."

Kartavya Plot

Saif Ali Khan plays the role of police officer Pawan Malik, who must decide how far he’ll go to uphold his duty while facing threats and protecting his family’s safety.

Netflix has also announced another Saif Ali Khan film, titled Hum Hindustani, which is set in post-Independence India. Directed by Rahul Dholakia and inspired by real-life events, the film also features Pratik Gandhi. Hum Hindustani brings the untold story of India’s very first election. Alongside Saif and Pratik, the movie stars Deepak Dobriyal, Mimi Chakraborty, Sarika, and Shraddha Dangar in key roles. Produced by Emmay Entertainment with Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani serving as producers. The first glimpse of Saif and Pratik Gandhi has been creating a buzz online.
