The excitement is growing for Ranveer Singh's next project following the unprecedented success of the Dhurandhar franchise. The actor has already committed to the ambitious post-apocalyptic thriller Pralay, directed by Jai Mehta. The zombie film is completely on schedule, according to a source close to the production company. Yes, you read that right!

Ranveer Singh left Pralay due to creative disagreements after leaving Don 3, according to early rumours. "Reports of any uncertainty surrounding the film are completely baseless. Ranveer and Jay are in constant discussions, and the script has been finalised," Variety India quoted an insider.

Pralay is currently in pre-production, and the whole crew is getting ready to produce a large-scale production that has never been seen in Indian film before. Pralay will go on floors in August 2026 as scheduled.

For the past year, Jay Mehta has been working diligently on the project, which is expected to be completed on a substantial budget of about Rs 300 crore.

Pralay writers are Jai Mehta and Vishal Kapoor, who wrote Lootere. The movie is being produced in collaboration with Applause Entertainment by Hansal Mehta's True Story Films and Ranveer Singh's Ma Kasam Films. The entire cast is yet unknown; however, Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of seasoned director Priyadarshan, has been named as the female protagonist.
