The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s squad for the upcoming ODI series against England, which is scheduled to start from July 14. Notably, destructive fast-bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is currently on the road to recovery, has been omitted from the squad.

Apart from that, batting maestro Virat Kohli, who missed India’s last ODI assignment against Afghanistan, has been named in the squad, but his participation is subject to fitness clearance. Dainik Jagran earlier reported that Virat will visit the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) to get his fitness clearance.

Kohli, who already retired from Test and T20I, got injured during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 Final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) VS Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was added to India's ODI squad against Afghanistan and smashed a century in the third ODI, was unable to make a cut for the England series.

The BCCI on Sunday announced India’s ODI squad for the England tour. The Board took to X and informed that Varun Chakaravarthy has been ruled out of the Ireland T20I Series.
