Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan was named India’s 'Best Attitude of the Match' after playing a brilliant match-winning knock in the second T20I against Zimbabwe. Strength and Conditioning Coach A.I. Harsha praised Kishan for the way he prepared, trained and carried himself throughout the tour.
Kishan led India’s batting with an attacking 81 from just 44 balls, helping the team post a strong total of 219/5. India then bowled Zimbabwe out for 129 to seal a convincing 90-run win at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday. The victory also gave Shreyas Iyer’s side an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series.

Harsha said Kishan treated every day of the tour as a chance to improve. According to him, the left-hander arrived with a clear plan and stayed focused on getting better in every area of his game.
"He came on this tour with a clear purpose. Every time he stepped onto the field, he knew what he wanted to achieve. He spoke to every department, whether it was fielding, strength and conditioning or skill training, and asked how he could improve. He looked well-prepared and knew exactly what he wanted," Harsha said.
Harsha also mentioned that although Kishan made a small mistake while fielding during the match, it did not take away from his overall effort.
"Everyone has small mistakes in a game, but what he did well was far more important. His attitude, preparation and performance were outstanding. That is why today's award goes to Ishan Kishan," he added.
After receiving the award, Kishan thanked his teammates and encouraged everyone to continue playing with the same spirit.
"Well done, everyone. The energy on the field, especially from behind the stumps, was excellent. We are moving in the right direction. Let's keep this going and continue playing for the team," Kishan said.
