India captain Shubman Gill, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul and pacer Gurnoor Brar have arrived in Auckland ahead of the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand, which is set to begin on November 4. The trio was spotted training together as they began preparations for the series. Notably, both Gill and KL Rahul will feature in the first three ODIs of the five-match series to manage their workload for the two-Test match series against the same opponents.

The BCCI shared a video in which Gill and KL Rahul can be seen batting in the nets, while Gurnoor Brar is seen bowling. Brar made his ODI debut for India in June this year. Here is the video.

Apart from Gill, Rahul and Brar, former India captain Rohit Sharma has also reached Auckland ahead of the upcoming assignment. Rohit was spotted walking around and interacting with fans.

Prasidh Krishna to miss ODI series

Meanwhile, India will be without Prasidh Krishna for the ODI series against New Zealand. Reports suggest that Auqib Nabi could be included in the squad for the first three matches as his replacement. Notably, Nabi was part of India’s ODI squad for the last two matches.
