Afghanistan's batting vs India

Hashmatullah Shahidi finally found form as he scored his maiden ODI century, helping Afghanistan recover after a poor start to reach 218 all out.

Shahidi, who had not made a big impact earlier in the series, played a steady knock of 102 runs from 131 balls. His innings included 13 fours and a six. Azmatullah Omarzai also supported well with a quick 50 off 56 balls.

At one stage, Afghanistan were in a spot of bother at 36 for 4 inside the first 10 overs, putting them under heavy pressure early in the innings.

Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna made full use of the conditions and tore through the top order. He picked up all four early wickets and finished with outstanding figures of 5 for 23.
