IPL 2026: Delhi Capitals unveiled their new jersey for IPL 2026, retaining their iconic red and blue colours with a refreshed design featuring vertical blue and red stripes.

The unveiling ceremony, showcased in a video released by the franchise, featured women's team captain Jemimah Rodrigues and men's team skipper Axar Patel jointly launching the new kit, alongside new squad addition Nitish Rana.

Speaking on the occasion, the CEO of Delhi Capitals, Sunil Gupta, said, "This jersey celebrates our city, identity, and the fearless mindset we bring to the field."

"In a first for an IPL jersey launch campaign, we are also proud to feature our Women's team captain, Jemimah Rodrigues, as it reflects our commitment to building a unified Delhi Capitals culture across teams. Our Tigers in blue and red are ready, and we are looking forward to an exciting season ahead," he added.

Led by T20 World Cup 2026 winner Axar Patel, Delhi Capitals boast a formidable lineup, featuring seasoned Indian campaigners KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav. The veterans in the squad will be complemented by Australian pace ace Mitchell Starc.

The team's last-season miss on a playoff spot only adds to the anticipation surrounding their upcoming campaign.

Their 2025 campaign ended with a 5th-place finish, marked by seven victories from 14 matches. Delhi have never won an IPL trophy, and the team will look to end their quest in the 19th season.

Delhi Capitals' IPL 2026 campaign will kick off on April 1, as they take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, as per the 20-match schedule announced by the BCCI.
