He proceeds to rip apart the Indian tricolour as a crowd of onlookers cheers and applauds. In the background, chants of “F**k India! F**k India!” can be clearly heard. Walker reportedly carried out the act to protest what he called rising Indian immigration in the north Dallas suburbs, particularly in areas like Frisco.
Massive backlash on social media
The video has amassed more than 4,18,000 views in a short time and has dominated social media discussions, with thousands of comments reflecting sharply divided opinions. Many users, especially from the Indian diaspora, expressed strong anger and disappointment.

One commenter wrote, “To the coward who ripped the Indian flag: How dare you insult our motherland? We Indians come with PhDs, skills, and respect. You come with hate and insecurity. This is not about immigration, this is racism.”
Others took a more nuanced view, acknowledging underlying frustrations. One user commented, “This guy is frustrated, but ripping a flag won’t fix policy. Indians on H-1B are legally here filling skilled tech roles US companies hire for. Rapid change in places like Frisco stresses housing and schools — fair point for debate. Better: Reform H-1B, enforce rules, prioritise Americans where needed. Most Indians integrate well, pay taxes, and start businesses. Let’s talk solutions, not hate.”
The incident highlights growing tensions in fast-changing suburbs around Dallas, where a significant influx of Indian professionals has altered local demographics in recent years. While many praise Indian immigrants for their contributions to the tech industry and economy, critics point to strains on housing, schools, and community identity.
No official comment
As the video continues to circulate, it has intensified conversations about legal immigration, the H-1B visa program, cultural integration, and rising anti-Indian sentiment in parts of America. No official statement has been released by Frisco City Hall or local authorities so far.
