The war between the United States, Israel and Iran is most likely to escalate further as before the US's self-imposed deadline on the Strait of Hormuz could end, Tehran has closed all diplomatic channels of talks and negotiations with Washington.
Iranian media outlet, Tehran Times, on Tuesday reported that Iran has suspended all diplomatic and indirect lines of communication with the United States. This means the channels, including Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt, have also been suspended.
"Iran has closed all diplomatic and indirect channels of communication with the United States. Any and all message exchanges have also been suspended," the outlet reported.
As US President Donald Trump's deadline is set to end in hours, he issued a strong warning saying the whole of civilisation will die tonight.
In a post on Truth Social, the US President said, "A whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will".
"However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalised minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!" he added.
On Tuesday, the United States also launched an attack on Kharg Island, a crucial crude export hub of Iran in the Persian Gulf. At least 50 sites were targeted in the US strikes.

Reacting to the fresh attacks, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said that it will not start attacking the infrastructure of the US and its allies beyond the region as "restraint is over".
The IRGC statement hints of opening up of an even wider conflict theater beyond West Asia.
