US-Iran War: US President Donald Trump on Saturday said that a large number of completely empty oil tankers are currently heading towards the United States to load up what he described as the 'best and sweetest' oil and gas in the world. He also claimed that the United States has more oil than 'the next two largest oil economies combined', along with superior quality.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, "Massive numbers of completely empty oil tankers, some of the largest anywhere in the World, are heading, right now, to the United States to load up with the best and 'sweetest' oil (and gas!) anywhere in the World".
"We have more oil than the next two largest oil economies combined - and higher quality. We are waiting for you. Quick turnaround," he added.

His remarks come as talks between the United States and Iran have just begun in Islamabad. The talks are being closely watched around the world, as their outcome could have a major impact on Middle East security, global energy markets and international diplomacy.
US-Iran Peace Talks In Islamabad
US and Iranian delegations met with mediators in Pakistan ahead of high-stakes talks aimed at strengthening a fragile ceasefire and paving the way for a permanent end to the fighting. The meeting marks the first such engagement since the conflict began on February 28.
The Pakistan-brokered ceasefire continues to face significant challenges, with Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants exchanging fire along the border in southern Lebanon. Iran on Friday outlined two conditions that it said must be met before negotiations can begin.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said, "Two of the measures mutually agreed upon between the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations. These two matters must be fulfilled before negotiations begin."
Earlier, Trump wished US Vice President JD Vance well, saying, "We'll find out what's going on. They're militarily defeated."
