  1. Trump posted AI images of himself with aliens, in space.
  2. Images sparked debate, linked to new US UFO documents.
  3. JD Vance commented on UFOs, celestial beings, and evil.

President Donald Trump ignited a new discussion online when he posted a few AI-generated images onto his Truth Social profile, which depicted him in future space-like themes and next to an alien. The images come soon after the release of new American government documentation of unidentified aerial phenomena (commonly known as UFOs).

The images showed him next to an alien on chains, sitting at what appeared to be a space commander's desk, and also explosions alongside what seemed to say "TARGET DESTROYED". The AI-made images were quickly replicated and distributed on multiple other social media pages, where some users called the images humorous internet memes, and others argued the President was taking photos of over-dramatised, military-related, and alien UFO themes.

These new images are only reminiscent of what Trump has also previously posted in terms of AI images. He has uploaded various doctored or AI-made images of himself as a pope-like figure, Jesus-like healer, superhero and various other exaggerated figures, and a past Jesus-like picture of himself on the app drew anger from many Christian supporters.

The president has also posted pictures of himself as a king or fighter pilot, and has also posted a few various controversial AI images with military undertones or to attack political rivals.

UFO Files

The new alien posts follow a surge of renewed discussion around the United States and the government disclosing their documentation and files concerning UFOs and various unidentified aerial incidents throughout the decades. The new release includes various videos, pilots' stories, and reports from numerous decades of unexplained aerial phenomena, but according to government officials, there is no proof to suggest extraterrestrial existence.

Trump, JD Vance Comments On UFO

While President Trump stated he believes that most UFO talk is fictional, his administration supported the effort to reveal more information on unknown aerial activity. Earlier, Vice President JD Vance stated he believes some of the UFO stories may have other explanations that cannot be explained by science.

“Well, look, I think that celestial beings who fly around, who do weird things to people. I think that the desire to describe everything celestial, everything is otherworldly, to describe it as aliens,” Vance said.

“Every great world religion, including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there, and there are things that are very difficult to explain. And I naturally go, when I hear about sort of extra-natural phenomenon, that’s where I go, is the Christian understanding that, you know, there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also some evil out there. I think that one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed,” Vance added.

The incident proves how widely used AI-generated images have become, and according to sources, while this story seems relatively harmless, public figures sharing highly realistic AI pictures/videos could lead to people questioning whether these are true satire or a way to spread misinformation.
