The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for two recent shooting incidents involving Indian nationals living in Portugal, through a viral social media post.

A man identifying himself as Rahul RK Meena, a self-claimed member of the notorious Sunil Meena gang, has asserted that he, on behalf of a coalition of internationally operating criminal gangs, planned attacks at the home of Gurpreet Singh Gill in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal, and on another man named Gurdeep Singh in Sintra, Portugal, on May 6.

Meena further said the initial shootings were carried out as a strict warning. He added that the attacks were to "open their eardrums', threatening that the next shot would be fired at their head.

Boasting about the group's global operation, Meena explicitly threatened to escalate the attacks, saying, "Those who have fled Portugal should prepare their funeral bier at their doorsteps."

He added that the network of the group of criminals is spread across the world. "Wait, the encounter will be devastating as we are shadow which never leave," Meena threatened in the viral post.

Apart from the aggressive warning, the social media posts ended with hashtags of several connected criminal networks such as the Sunil Meena Gang, Rahul Dubey Gang and Aman Sahu Gang, pointing to a large and organised international extortion and intimidation racket.
