The Indian embassy in Tehran has issued an advisory, informing Indians who remain in Iran to remain indoors and stay where they are, amid President Trump’s deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz nears and threatens a military response. They have been advised to avoid power distribution facilities and military facilities, as well as upper levels in high-rise buildings.
“Indian nationals who are still in Iran must stay where they are for the next 48 hours, avoiding all electric and military installations and upper floors of multi-storey buildings, remaining indoors, and coordinating any highway movement strictly with the Embassy," the advisory read.
