In a remarkable display of strength and determination, an Egyptian man had achieved a unique world record by pulling a huge ship by his teeth. The feat, verified by Guinness World Records, has gained attention for both its scale and the single-mindedness it offered.

The Guinness World Record holder identifies as Ashraf Mahrous Sulaiman, also known as Kabonga, and achieved the feat on September 27, 2025, in El Ghardaka, located in Egypt’s Red Sea region.

He successfully pulled a ship weighing 720.332 metric tons, setting a new benchmark for the heaviest ship ever pulled by teeth.

For Mahrous, the achievement was more like a personal goal. His effort was directly impacted by completing the challenge and setting a new benchmark.

This is not the first time Mahrous has stunned audiences with his strength. Earlier in 2025, he set a record by pulling a 279-tonne train using his teeth. Over the years, he has also pulled a truck singlehandedly, cementing his reputation in the world of strongman performances.

It is important to note that these kinds of applications are only eligible for people aged 16 or above.

How Did The Netizens React?

Netizens appreciated the act and praised Mahrous for the achievement. One user commented, "Wow, human strength knows no limits."

Another user noted, "That's not just strength—that's unreal determination and discipline. Pulling over 720 tons with your teeth is beyond impressive."

A third said, "How did he know he could do this?". Another commented, "That is not just raw strength, it is absurd levels of discipline, conditioning and mental control. Pulling 720.332 tons with your teeth sounds almost unrealistic, but records like this remind you how far trained human capacity can go. This is real strength worthy of celebrations."
