China has issued a stern warning to the US, demanding that the US cease exaggerating the "China threat" rhetoric. This reaction of China comes after a recent US intelligence report suggesting that China is unlikely to attack Taiwan within a year.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian emphasised that the US must exercise extreme caution in both its speech and actions regarding Taiwan. He urged the US to recalibrate its perception of China and avoid creating unnecessary panic and a tense environment through its provocative statements. China, which maintains that Taiwan is an inseparable part of its territory, warned that such narratives only serve to heighten regional instability.

Condemnation Of Regional Violence

Beijing also expressed strong disapproval of recent assassination of Senior Iranian leader Ali Larijani in Israeli airstrike, beyond the US-China dynamics. Labeling the act "unacceptable," China reiterated its stance against the targeted killing of national leaders and strikes on civilian infrastructure.
