The investigation into the tragic deaths of three sisters who jumped from the ninth floor of Bharat City Society, Ghaziabad, in the Tila Mod area has been completed, and the report submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), officials said.
The three girls, Nishika (15), Prachi (14), and Pakhi (11), died in the incident that occurred around 2 AM on February 4 in flat number 907 of B-One Tower. Their father, Chetan, who lived with three wives and five children in the flat, had reportedly left the flat at the owner’s request.

The investigation revealed that the sisters had adopted aspects of Korean culture, including changing their names. According to police sources, the girls’ father had subsequently restricted their mobile phone use, which the investigation suggests may have contributed to their actions.
The investigation report, prepared by the Tila Mod police station and sent to ACP Atul Kumar Singh, was then forwarded to DCP Nimish Patil. It includes statements from 14 individuals, including family members, teachers, eyewitnesses, the landlord, and forensic personnel. The report has confirmed suicide, and all evidence, including the girls’ room and the suicide note, has been sealed.
Following the incident, the flat owner requested Chetan to vacate the apartment. The family moved their belongings overnight to another flat within the same society. Officials said the family is currently living there but is not communicating with neighbours or authorities.
DCP Nimish Patil stated that the investigation report is under review and will soon be sent to higher authorities for further action.
