Ghaziabad Traffic Advisory: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled event in Meerut on Sunday, traffic on Meerut Road will be restricted. The traffic police have announced a diversion plan, effective from 6:00 am on Sunday until the conclusion of the programme.

All vehicles will be completely prohibited from travelling between Rajchowk in Modinagar and Mohiuddinnpur in Meerut. DCP Traffic Trigun Bisen has confirmed that vehicles will only be allowed to move according to the prescribed diversion routes.

Ghaziabad Traffic advisory: Check Road Closures & Restrictions

  • Rajchowk (Modinagar) to Mohiuddinnpur (Meerut): All vehicles prohibited.
  • From Ghaziabad to Meerut: Commercial vehicles and buses must use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Duhai.
  • Vehicles from Kundli-Palwal: Do not exit at Duhai Interchange, exit at Dasna Interchange instead.
  • Heavy & private vehicles from Rajchowk to Meerut: Diverted via Bhojpur-Hapur route.
  • Heavy vehicles and buses from Muradnagar / Modinagar-Niwari route: Travel to Meerut via Ganganahar Patti prohibited.
  • Vehicles of event attendees: May use Rajchowk and Ganganahar Patti route.
  • Heavy vehicles and buses from Bhojpur / Niwari to Rajchowk: Not permitted.

Plan your journey in advance, follow diversion signs, and allow extra travel time. Authorities urge everyone to comply with traffic rules for smooth movement.
