Travis Scott In The Odyssey: Christopher Nolan is leaving no stone unturned to keep moviegoers excited for his upcoming cinematic spectacle, The Odyssey. Matt Damon starrer is shaping up to be one of the highly anticipated cinematic adaptations of Homer’s timeless Greek epic. With the new addition and surprise entry of  10-time Grammy-nominated rapper Travis Scott, a new teaser for The Odyssey left fans stunned with an unexpected face that nobody saw coming.

Travis Scott's First Look At The Odyssey

In the minute-long teaser screened during Fox’s Sunday broadcast of the AFC Championship matchup between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, a scene featuring Jon Bernthal’s Menelaus and Tom Holland’s Telemachus, where Travis Scott is introduced in a mysterious role.

A tense exchange between Menelaus and Telemachus is interrupted by Scott’s character, who silences the mess hall with the booming taps of a staff, warning of an impending war.

He says, “A war, a man, a trick — a trick to break the walls of Troy." Along with the visuals of destruction from the Trojan War, Scott adds, “It’s burning, screaming to the ground," as per Deadline.

Travis Scott And Christopher Nolan’s Collaboration

This is not the first collaboration between Scott and Nolan. Scott previously recorded the track “The Plan” for Nolan’s 2020 sci-fi thriller Tenet. Impressed by Scott's creative instincts, Nolan penned a personal handwritten note praising the songwriter’s video for Franchise, which was shown ahead of certain Imax screenings for Tenet.

The Odyssey stars Matt Damon as the Greek Hero Odysseus, alongside Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Bernthal, Benny Safdie and Elliot Page. In addition to directing, Nolan wrote the script and produced the film alongside his wife, Emma Thomas. Universal is set to release The Odyssey in theatres on July 17.
