Xiaomi has finally given users a proper look at the Xiaomi 17T series ahead of its global debut next week. The upcoming lineup, expected to include the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, has now been teased in official renders, revealing the design, colour options, and some early details about the phones.

The teaser also confirms that Xiaomi is bringing the T series back to India after a long gap. While the global launch is set for May 28, the standard Xiaomi 17T will arrive in India on June 4.

Xiaomi Is Going With A Cleaner Design This Time

The Xiaomi 17T series seems to be moving towards a flatter and more minimal design language compared to older T-series phones. Both devices shown in the teaser carry flat sides, a metal frame, and a square rear camera island that slightly protrudes from the back panel.

Xiaomi has kept the camera layout fairly simple. The Leica-branded triple-camera setup sits inside the square module, while the LED flash is placed separately beside it instead of being tucked inside the camera island itself.

The smaller variant has been shown in a Violet finish, whereas the larger model appears in a Deep Blue colour option. The company has also confirmed that the lineup will launch in two display sizes, although the exact dimensions are still under wraps.

Buttons for volume and power are placed on the right edge, while the left side remains completely clean. Overall, the phones look slimmer and more polished than previous generations.

T Series Returns To India After More Than Four Years

What makes this launch interesting is Xiaomi bringing the T series back to India after skipping the lineup for years. The company had shifted most of its focus towards Redmi and numbered flagship models, but the 17T now seems positioned as a performance-focused premium smartphone sitting below the flagship Ultra lineup.

As of now, Xiaomi has only confirmed the India launch of the standard Xiaomi 17T. So far, there is no confirmation if the Pro model will be available in the Indian market or not.

Leaked Information Suggests AMOLED Screen And Mediatek Performance

Though there is no information provided by Xiaomi itself, several leaked bits have suggested some of the aspects of Xiaomi 17T.

According to these leaks, the device will come with a 6.59 inches 1.5K AMOLED screen that supports the refresh rate of 120Hz. It can also have around 460ppi pixel density.

More official details are expected to be announced by Xiaomi in the days leading up to the launch event.
