Thousands of X users reported issues with the social media platform on Monday, with complaints ranging from problems loading the app to disruptions affecting feeds and timelines.

According to outage-tracking website DownDetector, reports of issues began to spike at around 7 pm. Within a short period, more than 28,974 users had flagged problems with the platform.

App And Feed Issues Reported

Data shared by DownDetector suggests that the majority of complaints were linked to the X app itself. Around 45 percent of users who reported issues said they were experiencing problems using the application.

Another 30 percent of reports were related to the feed and timeline, with users indicating that posts were not loading properly or that content was failing to refresh.

Website Also Affected

The disruption do not appear to be limited to the mobile app.

Around 15 percent of reported complaints were tied to X's website, suggesting that some users were also facing difficulties accessing the platform through a web browser.

The exact cause of the outage remains unclear, and X has not yet commented on the reported issues.
