These days air purifiers are becoming a part of our daily lives, and it's not just a matter of option anymore. Some seasons call for its proper utilisation, especially in winters when the air is heavy and particulate matter with other pollutants settles down, which could make breathing very uncomfortable and, in some cases, might also cause irritation and respiratory problems. With pollution levels of things such as PM 2.5 (particulate matter) and dust particles, it is always a good option to have a good air purification solution.

I tested the Wozoyo Pure Air PA6 Air Purifier; here's my take on it, but before we get into its performance, let's take a look at some of the technical aspects of this air purifier so that you can get a rounded-up idea of what you will get with it.

Technical Specifications

The Pure Air PA6 is designed for large homes and commercial spaces, covering areas of up to 2,915 square feet. It comes equipped with a 4-stage filtration system featuring an H13 HEPA filter, nano silver anti-bacterial filter and an Activated Carbon filter as well in one, while a high CADR of 700m³/h helps it clean indoor air quickly and efficiently.

The purifier also includes a PM2.5 sensor with a real-time AQI display, along with a smart 4-in-1 sensor that tracks air quality, VOC levels, temperature, and humidity. Users can choose between three fan speeds or switch to turbo mode when faster purification is needed. Smart features such as Alexa and Google Assistant support, filter replacement alerts, and energy-efficient 65W operation add to the overall experience. The filter is rated to last up to 9,000 hours, or roughly a year under typical usage, as the company has claimed. This device also comes with its own app support as well.

Design, Build Quality And Aesthetics

Design-wise, Wozoyo has kept it simple, and unlike some of the other purifiers there that come with fancy body language, this keeps things straight. It has a box-type rectangular body with curved corners and an air vent at the top, and you can also find the control panel there. The installation of its air filter is also pretty easy; you just need to take care that you remove the plastic from it before you use it. It's as simple as opening the back chamber, putting it in, and turning it on.

As far as build quality is concerned, the product feels decent and sturdy. The only thing I felt here is that it is a bit bulky and a bit difficult to move around, but it is given that this has a massive filter inside and the unit has a capacity of 700 m³/h CADR. Although it would have been helpful if the unit came with built-in wheels to manoeuvre it, it does have handles on the side which you can use to pick it up. In my experience the unit is not that heavy, but some might still find it a hassle to move it around if its place is not fixed.

The unit also has ambient lighting on its front panel as well as the display; the lighting indicates the state of air in the room you are in, while the display can showcase many other things like temperature, humidity, TVOC and PM2.5 readings, filter reset, child lock and a timer as well. According to the indicator, if PM2.5 is between 0 and 50, it's green, and if TVOC is 0.61-12, it will be yellow.

Different Modes And Uses

The Pure Air PA6 offers a simple control layout with multiple operating modes designed for different situations. Users can switch between Auto, Sleep and Turbo modes, with Auto mode automatically adjusting fan speed based on real-time air quality. You can set it to Auto Mode and just forget about it.

The machine is smart enough to kick into high gear only when it detects dirty air, keeping things totally peaceful and quiet the rest of the time. Sleep mode reduces noise and dims the interface for nighttime use, which is especially useful if you are someone who wakes up by just a tick; it keeps the sound low without disturbing your sleep, and as far as technicality is concerned, the company has claimed it to be as low as 22 dB/A, and at high speeds it is 59 dB/A, and turbo mode delivers maximum purification performance when faster air cleaning is required.

The purifier also allows manual control over fan speed through three selectable levels, while a built-in timer can be set for 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. Display brightness can be adjusted across three levels, including a completely dark setting for bedrooms, which is another useful thing, as you can reduce the amount of light without much interruption to your sleep. Additional convenience features include a filter replacement reminder with reset functionality and a child lock mode that disables all controls to prevent accidental changes.

App Connectivity

The device comes with a dedicated app which can be found on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You need to configure it a bit to get the device connected to the app through Wi-Fi. But the devices connected quickly to the app, and you have all the controls now at your fingertips. I have attached a picture below to showcase all that you can get to see on its dashboard.

The basics are there, from power on/off to fan speed and different modes that you can choose. On its intuitive UI you can also see the air quality, PM2.5 levels via a graph and TVOC reading as well. It also shows how much filter health is remaining. Apart from that, the option for child lock and the filter reset option are also there, and timer options also show up; additionally, brightness can also be adjusted.

The app also gives an option to give access to third-party control like Alexa and Google Assistant, so that's also an addition for people who might like it. Another interesting thing was the reach of the app; I was able to turn it off and change settings even when I was outside of my house and downstairs. For reference, I live on the 5th floor. In my case I would usually use the app more, as it does away with the need to get up again and again to change modes and adjust the purifier. It's a simple app with not much hassle in it, and I think it's a good start.

Performance

The air purifier is a beast when it comes to its CADR, as usually air purifiers in this category come with a 300-550 m³/h CADR, and this one is way higher than that. According to air filtration indicators and the feel of the room, the purification felt smooth and fast. I used it on Auto Mode as well as Turbo Mode, and in both cases the device delivered what the numbers speak of, although I must mention that during Turbo Mode it does get loud, and if you are watching TV or something, its buzz would be quite audible, but you don't have to use it all the time, and for me, Auto Mode was good enough.

For reference, I was using it in my living room, which is approximately 500-600 sq. ft, and it was quite sufficient, although the device is claimed to provide purification for a much larger area of up to 2915 sq. ft. But I feel that a living room my size, as I mentioned above, is a sweet spot for this device, and it will successfully clear the air out. It has universal voltage compatibility (220-240V), so it can be plugged in anywhere easily.

Pricing

This air purifier will officially cost you Rs 24,999, which, in my opinion, is quite aggressively priced compared to some other units in the market and brings a lot of value for what its specs provide. At 700m³/h it is a good value for money. The company has claimed a lifespan of 9,000 hours for the filter, which means it could last a year, although the new filter would cost you Rs 7,299, which I understand is a bit on the expensive side, but this is also a standard for filters this size out there, and with the lower overall price, this still remains a good deal.

Verdict

All in all this is a solid product with massive power, ideal for your living rooms in real-time usage, although the filter life of the product can only be gauged after long-term use, but for now it does a solid job. For this, I would like to give the product an 8.5/10 rating.
