Vivo V80 Lite 5G marked its global debut on Thursday, and this is the first smartphone in the V80 series. The selling point here with this device is its massive 10,000 mAh battery, which comes equipped with 44W fast-charging support as well. Inside, there is a MediaTek Dimensity processor, and the device will also come with a dual-camera setup.

As mentioned above, the device runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor, which is a processor built on 6nm process. It has four efficiency cores and four performance cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and 2.5 GHz, respectively.

For display, the device comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel (1260X2800 pixels) and can support up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Apart from that, the device comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage of up to 256GB.

The device sports a rear dual camera setup on its rear panel, headlined by a 50 MP main shooter coupled with a 2MP macro camera. For shooting selfies and video calls, you will get a 32 MP front shooter; interestingly, the top model also supports Dual View video mode. As mentioned above, the battery is massive, standing at 10,000 mAh, paired with 44W wired charging support. It also has a fingerprint scanner. It also has sensors like an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and more.

For dust and water resistance, the device comes with IP68+IP69 ratings and has OriginOS 6 based on Android-16 running inside. The device is out in Black, Green and Pink colourways.

Price and Availability

The pricing and sale date are not yet revealed, but there are a few variants in which the device will be available like 6GB + 128GB, 6GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage versions.
