Paying separately for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, JioHotstar and other streaming platforms can quickly become expensive. Airtel is trying to solve that with its Rs 999 broadband plan, which bundles several of these services into a single subscription alongside high-speed internet.

The telecom operator offers the plan to both Fiber and AirFiber customers, and it's currently one of the most content-heavy broadband packs in Airtel's portfolio.

For Fiber users, the plan comes with speeds of up to 100Mbps and a monthly data allowance of 3.3TB. AirFiber subscribers also get up to 100Mbps speeds, although upload performance can vary depending on network conditions. Data benefits are lower on AirFiber, with users receiving 1TB per month.

Where the plan really stands out is the long list of bundled subscriptions. Airtel includes access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, JioHotstar, ZEE5 Premium and Airtel Xstream Play. The company is also bundling a Google One membership and a one-year Adobe Express Premium subscription, which Airtel says is worth around Rs 4,000.

For users already paying for multiple streaming services, the combined value of these subscriptions could end up being more attractive than the broadband connection itself.

If Fiber is available in your area, that's likely the better option. Airtel itself recommends choosing Fiber over AirFiber due to its higher data allowance and greater reliability. AirFiber, meanwhile, is aimed at locations where traditional fibre connectivity isn't available.

Customers interested in the Rs 999 plan can subscribe through Airtel's website, mobile app or customer support channels.

As competition in the home broadband market continues to intensify, operators are increasingly using bundled content to attract users, and Airtel's Rs 999 plan is a clear example of that strategy.
