Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G was recently launched, and it is now available for purchase in the Indian market. This device adds to the Pova 8 series. Inside, the device runs on a Dimensity silicon and has a 144Hz AMOLED display.
Another interesting feature is its Alive Matrix Display on the rear panel, where the camera is also located, which acts as a status bar for notifications. Another feature of this device is a 6,500 mAh battery paired with 45W wired fast charging.
Tecno Pova 8 Pro 5G Features And Specs
The all-new Tecno Pova has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor, which is paired up with Tecno P1 graphics and an ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It has a vapour cooling chamber solution for heat management of the device. The device sports a 6,500 mAh battery with 45W wired support for charging.
This is also a dual-SIM device and runs on Android 16-based HiOS 16. For the display, the device has a 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED screen (1,208 x 2,644 pixels), and it also supports a 144 Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness on the device reaches 4,500 nits.
The most interesting feature on its exterior is its Active Matrix Display, which the company claims can create a "Breathing Light" effect with over 49 scenarios. This display is also used to show notifications like battery, SMS and calls, etc. In the camera department, the device carries a 50 MP main shooter and an 8 MP ultrawide. For selfies and videos, you get a 13 MP lens.

Price And Availability
The device is priced at ₹ 49,999 for the 8GB+256GB RAM and storage variant. While the 12GB+512GB variant goes for ₹54,999. To attract buyers, there is also a launch offer that gives ₹3,000 instant cashback on specific UPI transactions and cards. There are also no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months, with payments starting at ₹2,777.
