Tecno Pop X India Launch Confirmed For March 4; Might Be A Rebranded Tecno Spark Go 3

Tecno has announced an official launch timeline for its new affordable smartphone called the Tecno Pop X, confirming that the device will be available in India in the first week of March and also be available only online. The phone is expected to cater to entry-level buyers seeking smooth display and no-nonsense features. A dedicated microsite has also gone live ahead of the launch, and some design elements and certain specifications have been revealed, as another claim shows that the phone might be a rebranded Tecno Spark Go 3.

Tecno Pop X price in India, availability details

The Tecno Pop X will be launched on March 4 at 12pm IST in India, as per the official microsite. The smartphone will also be sold exclusively through Amazon. It is confirmed that at least one of them will be white in colour.

Design and Display Details

The Tecno Pop X is also teased to have a flat rear panel and flat middle frame with a pill-shaped rear camera module which includes a single camera setup alongside an LED flash. The rear also features an infrared sensor. The device will come with a display that can go up to a 120Hz refresh rate but the bezels look pretty thick. On the right edge are power and volume buttons and the SIM tray is on the left.

Expected Features (Based on Tecno Spark Go 3)

Tech blogger Paras Guglani has speculated that the Tecno Pop X could be a rebadged version of the new Tecno Spark Go 3, which was released in India earlier this year.

For now, Tecno has not disclosed the chipset, price or camera details of the Pop X.
