SharkNinja has officially launched its Shark and Ninja brands in India, marking their first entry into the market. The move is part of the company’s broader APAC expansion, bringing its globally established appliance portfolio to Indian households.

Globally, the company has built scale across multiple categories, with a presence spanning 38 household segments and a portfolio of over 5,500 patents. In the US, the brands hold leading positions in small kitchen appliances and floorcare, driven by a product strategy centred around solving everyday user problems through design and performance.

Speaking on the launch, Mrunmay Mehta said, “With our brands Shark and Ninja, our philosophy is simple: we solve for real-world problems that others miss. Bringing this mission to India is an exciting and important step. We recognise the unique dynamics of Indian homes, and our commitment is to deliver 5-star rated, performance-driven solutions that positively impact our customer’s lives every day, in every home.”

Here’s What’s Launching In India

The company is starting with five products, each targeting a specific use case:

The Ninja Blast Portable Blender is designed for portability and everyday convenience. It comes with a BlastBlade assembly that can handle frozen fruits and ice, making it suitable for protein shakes, smoothies, and even lassis. The idea is to make quick blending possible whether you’re at home, work, or on the move.

In the air fryer segment, the company is introducing two models. The Ninja DoubleStack Air Fryer uses a vertical design to offer double cooking capacity while taking up less counter space. Alongside it, the Ninja DualZone Air Fryer allows users to cook two different dishes in separate zones, both finishing at the same time, which is useful for multi-item meals.

The Ninja Combi 14-in-1 multicooker combines superheated steam with rapid cyclonic air cooking. This allows it to prepare multiple components of a meal together across two levels. These devices are able to cook a range of foods such as biryani, idli, and paneer tikka within the same cycle, trying to provide balance between moist cooking inside the machine and crispy food outside.

As for cooling fans, the Shark FlexBreeze Fan takes into account local Indian weather conditions. It works cordlessly for up to 24 hours and features water and UV resistances along with the IPX5 standard. It is intended for indoor and outdoor use without generating much noise.

The last device that belongs to the 3-in-1 cleaning category is called the Shark HydroVac. This gadget is capable of sweeping, mopping, and self-cleaning simultaneously. It deals not only with dry dirt but also with spills, and there is an ability to neutralise odours in addition to multiple surface type cleanings.
