If the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge felt overpriced when it launched, things look very different now.

Samsung's ultra-slim flagship, which debuted in India at over Rs. 1 lakh, has received a substantial price cut on Flipkart, bringing it within reach of a much wider audience. The handset is currently available for Rs. 59,999 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model is listed at Rs. 71,999.

That is a straight discount of Rs. 50,000 compared to the original launch pricing, making it one of the biggest price drops seen on a recent Galaxy S-series smartphone.

Adding to the deal, Flipkart Axis Bank credit card users can get an extra Rs. 3,000 instant discount, pushing the effective price even lower.

The Galaxy S25 Edge stood out at launch for one reason above everything else: its design. At just 5.8mm thick and weighing around 163g, it arrived as Samsung's thinnest Galaxy S-series phone, taking aim at users who wanted a premium flagship without the bulk usually associated with high-end devices.

Despite its slim profile, Samsung didn't compromise much on the hardware. The phone packs a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset paired with 12GB of RAM.

Photography duties are handled by a 200-megapixel primary camera alongside a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, while a 12-megapixel front camera takes care of selfies and video calls.

With the latest price revision, the Galaxy S25 Edge enters an entirely different segment of the market. What was once a premium flagship costing over Rs. 1 lakh is now competing against upper mid-range and affordable flagship devices, making the deal significantly more attractive for buyers who had been waiting for a price drop.
