Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Price in India and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G starts at Rs. 22,999 in India. However, Samsung says this price includes coupon offers, and the final retail pricing for individual variants is yet to be announced. The company is expected to reveal those details closer to the sale.
The smartphone will go on sale from July 4 via Amazon and will be available in Blaze Blue and Rogue Red colour options.
Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Specifications and Features
The Galaxy M47 5G ships with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung has promised six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, making it one of the longest-supported devices in its segment. The phone also includes AI-powered features such as AI Voice Transcription.
On the front, there’s a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display having a 120Hz refresh rate. To ensure additional strength, the phone has been fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on its screen.
The hardware part consists of the latest processor called Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 from Qualcomm. Along with it, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage have been used to enhance the speed.
For photography, Samsung has equipped the phone with a triple rear camera setup housed inside a pill-shaped camera module. It includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie camera placed inside a centred hole-punch cutout. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
The Galaxy M47 5G is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It also supports bypass charging, allowing power to be supplied directly to the phone during gaming or other intensive tasks.
Samsung says the handset offers four times better scratch resistance and can withstand drops from heights of up to two metres. The company has also confirmed an ingress protection rating for dust and water resistance, although the exact certification has not been specified.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy M47 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
