Samsung might have increased the prices of its smartphones in India, according to reports. This time, the models that are affected by this prise rise include Galaxy A17, Galaxy A27, Galaxy A07 5G and Galaxy F17. The price rise can be seen affecting different versions of the device across RAM and storage configurations, with some facing a much larger price hike than others. According to the document that leaks these price revisions, September 2 will be the date when it all comes into effect.

Galaxy A17 Series To See The Biggest Price Hike

In a post on X, tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) shared the price hikes that are coming to Samsung Galaxy devices. In it, it seems that the A17 model could be the one getting the biggest price hike among all the listed models. The base 6GB+128GB variant, which has TA (trade-in allowance), will reportedly get a price hike from ₹19,499 to ₹29,999, which is a price hike of ₹10,500 straight.

Apart from this, according to the report, the other models with RAM and storage configurations 8+128GB and 8+256GB will cost you ₹32,999 and ₹38,499, respectively, up from their previous price points of ₹20,999 and ₹23,999, respectively.

The Galaxy A17 could also get a price bump, at least for the variants without TA. As per the reported prices, the 6GB + 128GB version may go from Rs. 24,499 to Rs. 27,999. The 8GB + 128GB model could see its price rise from Rs. 27,499 to Rs. 30,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant may jump from Rs. 32,999 to Rs. 36,499.

The Galaxy A27 is also expected to become more expensive. Its 6GB + 128GB variant could be priced at Rs. 33,999, compared with Rs. 31,999 currently. The 8GB + 128GB model may move up from Rs. 34,999 to Rs. 38,999, and the 8GB + 256GB version could see an even bigger jump, from Rs. 40,499 to Rs. 45,499.

For the Galaxy F17, the increase appears to be the same across all three variants. The 4GB + 128GB model could rise to Rs. 23,499, while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions may be priced at Rs. 26,499 and Rs. 29,499, respectively. That's a Rs. 3,500 increase for each variant.

The Galaxy A07 5G, meanwhile, could see a relatively smaller hike. The 4GB + 128GB model may become Rs. 19,999, up by Rs. 1,000, while the 6GB + 128GB version could see a Rs. 2,000 increase, taking it to Rs. 22,999.

Samsung has also increased the prices of several of its devices previously as well, and this trend can be seen replicating itself in the industry across various segments and devices. Higher memory and component costs are being blamed for this price rise.
