Pricing
The Redmi K90 Ultra starts at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 40,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. Interestingly, buyers can also get the 16GB + 256GB variant for the same price. Those looking for more storage can opt for the 12GB + 512GB version at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 47,000), while the top-end 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 50,000). Redmi is offering the phone in Space Silver, Shadow Black and Sky Blue.
Specs And Features
Up front, the K90 Ultra features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate that goes all the way up to 165Hz. The panel also supports HDR10+, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision, while peak brightness reaches 3,500 nits. For gamers, Redmi has included a 480Hz touch sampling rate that can rise to an instantaneous 3,500Hz when needed, helping the screen respond more quickly during fast-paced gameplay.
Powering everything is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, built on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process. Buyers can configure the phone with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Redmi has also added its D2 AI graphics chip, which is designed to boost frame rates and improve image quality in supported games.
Gaming is another area where Redmi appears to have focused its attention. Instead of relying only on a traditional vapour chamber, the K90 Ultra comes with an active cooling fan. According to the company, it can lower the phone's temperature by around 10 degrees Celsius within 100 seconds, helping sustain performance over longer gaming sessions.
The camera setup is relatively straightforward. The rear houses a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 800 primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while selfies and video calls are handled by a 20-megapixel front camera. The handset also carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust and water.
Redmi has packed in a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type C and support for NavIC alongside other global navigation systems. Audio is delivered through dual stereo speakers tuned by Bose with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless support.

Perhaps the biggest talking point is the battery. The Redmi K90 Ultra packs an 8,550mAh cell, making it one of the largest batteries seen on a flagship smartphone. It supports 100W wired fast charging, and Redmi includes a 100W GaN charger in the box. The phone also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging and uses Xiaomi's Surge P3 charging chip together with the Surge G2 battery management chip.
The Redmi K90 Ultra measures 162.91 x 77.93 x 8.18mm and weighs 227g.
