Redmi has started teasing its next flagship smartphones ahead of their expected debut in China on July 31. Although the company hasn't made an official confirmation about the identity of the gadgets, the recent teaser seems to strongly suggest that it is now time for the release of the Redmi K100 series. As if that wasn't enough, a promotional picture of the Redmi K100 Pro Max was leaked on the web, providing an insight into the device's appearance.

Uploaded before the ChinaJoy 2026 event on Weibo, this teaser from Redmi does not show the complete phone. The teaser, however, gives us a glimpse of the rear part of the phone. There is a rectangular camera setup on the top left side of the rear panel, and the volume and power button on the right side of the phone. It has a design similar to the Redmi K90 Pro Max launched in China last year.
There's another subtle hint in the teaser as well. The silhouettes of three phones are arranged to form the number 100, making it fairly clear that Redmi is building up to the K100 series launch.
The leaks didn't stop there. Tipster @TechHome100 has posted what is said to be an official promotional render of the Redmi K100 Pro Max on X. The image shows the phone in a striking red finish with a flat display and a redesigned rectangular camera island. It also mentions a 185Hz refresh rate, while 'Sound by Bose' branding is visible on the rear panel, hinting at an upgraded audio experience.

Earlier this week, an unreleased Redmi smartphone also turned up on Geekbench with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 16GB of RAM, and Android 16. While the benchmark listing didn't identify the handset by name, it's widely believed to be one of the upcoming K100 series models.
Redmi has already confirmed that it will unveil a new product during ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31. With official teasers now live and leaks picking up pace, the K100 series looks set to take centre stage at the event.
