Realme has officially locked in the launch date for its next pair of true wireless earbuds, the Realme Buds T500 Pro. The company is positioning this as a feature-packed audio upgrade, with a strong focus on sound quality, smarter connectivity, and everyday usability.
The earbuds will launch in India on April 16 at 12pm IST. Once announced, they will be available via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and Amazon. Pricing details are still under wraps and will be revealed at launch. Buyers will get three colour options to choose from: Chocolate, Lemon Cola, and Orange Mint.
Hi Res Audio And Upgraded Sound Hardware
On the audio front, Realme is clearly pushing for a more premium experience. The Buds T500 Pro come with 12.4mm drivers and carry Hi Res Audio Wireless certification. They also support the LHDC 5.0 codec, allowing audio transmission up to 24bit and 96kHz.
The earbuds use a titanium plated diaphragm, which is designed to improve bass response while also expanding the overall soundstage. There are multiple EQ modes available, and users can fine tune audio settings through the Realme Link app for a more personalised experience.
Connectivity And Low Latency Performance
The Buds T500 Pro steps up connectivity with Bluetooth 6.1 support. The other feature that really sets this apart from others is the fact that up to three devices can be connected simultaneously for easy transition from phone to tablet or computer.
Gamers and those who are consuming content will also get access to ultralow latency of 45ms.
Advanced ANC And Smart Features
Realme is also bringing a more intelligent approach to noise cancellation. The Buds T500 Pro support up to 50dB active noise cancellation with a 5,000Hz bandwidth. This is backed by a real time AI system that adapts based on ear fit and surrounding noise levels.
The earbuds come equipped with a six microphone setup for clearer calls. They also introduce live translation features, including two way and face to face modes, making them more than just an audio device.
Additional features include MindFlow mode with ambient soundscapes, adaptive noise control, and Find My Earbuds support. Realme is also bundling a lanyard for easier carrying.
Battery Life And Charging
Battery performance looks like another strong area. Realme claims up to 56 hours of total playback with the charging case.
On the earbuds alone, users can expect up to 13.5 hours of playback with ANC off using AAC, and up to eight hours with ANC on. With LHDC enabled, playback drops to nine hours without ANC and 5.5 hours with ANC.
The earbuds contain 62mAh batteries, whereas the case contains 530mAh batteries. It takes approximately an hour to charge the earbuds and two hours to charge the case using USB type-C. Realme says that the user can enjoy 14 days of listening time with a single charge cycle.
Design And Durability
The Buds T500 Pro has an IP55 rating, which means it has both dust and water resistance.
Each bud is rated at around 4.5 grams weight, ensuring that the device stays lightweight even when in use for extended periods of time.
The portable charger has been made in a small form factor, claimed to be 20 percent slimmer than its predecessor. The operating temperature of the buds falls between 0-45 degrees Celsius.
All these features, coupled with the premium experience that the T500 Pro offers in terms of high-end audio experience along with smart features, make it quite a promising TWS product.
