Realme has launched the Buds T500 Pro in India, and this one clearly tries to blur the line between budget and premium audio. The focus is simple. Bring in better sound, smarter noise cancellation, and more flexible connectivity without overcomplicating the experience.

This is not just another refresh. It feels like Realme is trying to check every box users now expect from TWS earbuds.

Focus On Sound Quality

The earbuds use 12.4mm drivers with a titanium-plated diaphragm. The aim here is straightforward. Deliver stronger bass while keeping vocals and details clear.

Support for LHDC 5.0 and Hi Res Audio Wireless adds another layer, allowing higher quality audio streaming up to 24-bit and 96kHz. This is still not common at this level.

There are multiple EQ presets available, and you can tweak them further using the Realme Link app. The MindFlow mode is also interesting. It adds ambient sound layers for a more relaxed listening experience.

Adaptive Noise Cancellation And Calls

Realme is pushing noise cancellation as a key feature. The Buds T500 Pro offer up to 50dB ANC, and the system adjusts itself in real time based on your surroundings and ear fit.

Call quality is handled by a six-microphone setup. The goal is to keep voice clarity intact even in noisy environments.

There is also live translation support built in, including two-way and face-to-face modes, which is not something you usually see in this segment.

Connectivity And Everyday Use

The earbuds come with Bluetooth 6.1 and can connect to three devices at the same time. Switching between devices should feel seamless, especially for people juggling between a phone and a laptop.

There is also a low latency mode rated at 45ms. That should help during gaming and video streaming where sync matters.

Find My Earbuds support is included, which is always useful if you tend to misplace them.

Battery Life And Design

Battery life is one of the bigger highlights. Realme claims up to 56 hours of total playback with the case.

On a single charge, the earbuds can last up to 13.5 hours without ANC using AAC, and up to 8 hours with ANC turned on. With LHDC, the numbers drop slightly to 9 hours without ANC and 5.5 hours with it.

Each earbud packs a 62mAh battery, while the case has a 530mAh unit. Charging is done via USB Type C, and it takes about an hour for the earbuds and two hours for the case.

The earbuds weigh around 4.5 grams each, making them lighter than earlier Realme options. The case is smaller as well, and there is a lanyard included for easier carrying. With an IP55 rating, they should handle dust and splashes without issues.

What It Comes Down To

On paper, the Buds T500 Pro try to do everything. Better audio, stronger ANC, long battery life, and smarter features.

The real question is not what they offer. It is how well all of this comes together in everyday use. That is where these earbuds will actually stand out or fall short.
