Poco X8 Power And X8 Launched: Poco has finally dropped two smartphones of the X8 series, the Poco X8 Power and the standard Poco X8. Both devices come with two different variants of Snapdragon processors, but the main feature here with the devices is their big batteries, with the Power variant having 10,000 mAh and the standard variant getting a 9,000 mAh cell.

Before getting into its price and availability, let's dive into its detailed specs and features.

Under the hood, the Poco X8 Power comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 octa-core processor, clocking at a peak of 2.6 GHz. The standard variant, on the other hand, comes with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with a clock speed of 2.4GHz. Both devices sport an Adreno GPU.

When it comes to the screen, both devices have a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (1,280 x 2,772 pixels) which supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10+. When it comes to peak brightness, it stands at 3,500 nits for both devices. For glass protection, there is Corning Gorilla Victus 2.

The power variant will have up to 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage of up to 256 GB; the standard, on the other hand, will get an LPDDR4x RAM configuration.

In the camera department, both the X8 lineup devices come with a dual camera setup, with a 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is an 8 MP ultrawide lens as well on the power variant, while the standard X8 has a 2 MP depth sensor. Poco X8 Power, for selfies and video calls, has a 32MP camera, while the vanilla variant has a 16 MP front shooter.

The Poco X8 Power is the bigger of the two when it comes to battery capacity, packing a 10,000mAh cell. It supports 100W wired fast charging and can also charge other devices at up to 27W using wired reverse charging. The Poco X8 gets a 9,000mAh battery, along with 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.

Both phones support dual SIMs and run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16. Poco has also equipped them with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, so they offer protection against dust and water.

The Poco X8 Power will be sold in Black and Yellow, while the Poco X8 comes in three options: Black, Fiery Orange and Frost White.

Poco X8 Power, Poco X8 Price in India and Availability

The Poco X8 starts at Rs. 29,999, while the Poco X8 Power has a starting price of Rs. 35,999. There are some launch offers as well. Buyers can get a Rs. 2,000 coupon discount and an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 1,000.

After applying both offers, the effective starting price comes down to Rs. 26,999 for the Poco X8 and Rs. 32,999 for the Poco X8 Power.

Both phones will be available in India from September 11, with sales taking place through Flipkart.
