Oppo has expanded its audio lineup in China with the launch of the new Enco Air 5s earbuds, arriving alongside the Reno 16 smartphone series. The latest truly wireless earphones focus heavily on everyday convenience features, combining active noise cancellation, spatial audio, AI-backed calling tools, and long battery life in a lightweight semi-in-ear design.
Oppo is offering the Enco Air 5s in three colour options: Star Purple, Moonlight White, and Dark Night Black. Pricing starts at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 4,200) for the white and black versions, while the purple model is priced at CNY 329 (roughly Rs. 4,600). However, as part of an introductory offer, all three variants are temporarily available at discounted prices in China.
The new earbuds are already on sale through Oppo’s official channels and partner retailers in the country.
In terms of design, the Enco Air 5s adopts a semi-in-ear form factor aimed at users who prefer a lighter fit over traditional in-ear silicone tips. Each earbud weighs just 3.9g, while the charging case weighs 30.9g, keeping the overall package fairly compact and pocket-friendly.
Oppo has equipped the Enco Air 5s with 12mm dynamic drivers and dual-channel stereo audio output. The earbuds support a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz and also include spatial audio support for a more immersive listening experience.
Noise control appears to be one of the major highlights here. The earbuds support active noise cancellation with multiple intelligent modes, including deep, light, and transparency settings. Oppo has also added AI-powered call noise reduction alongside a triple-microphone setup to improve voice clarity during calls.
The Enco Air 5s also brings a number of smart connectivity features. The earbuds support dual-device pairing and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, with a claimed wireless range of up to 10 metres. Oppo is also adding sliding gesture-based volume controls and cross-platform compatibility.
Users inside the Oppo ecosystem will also get access to additional features such as AI translation, remote camera controls, and seamless switching between connected Oppo devices.
Battery life is another area Oppo is heavily promoting. The charging case packs a 530mAh battery, while each earbud houses a 40.5mAh cell. According to the company, the earbuds can deliver up to nine hours of playback on a single charge under standard conditions. With the charging case included, total battery life is claimed to reach up to 48 hours.
With active noise cancellation enabled, playback time drops to around 4.5 hours on the earbuds alone and up to 25 hours combined with the charging case.
The Enco Air 5s charges via USB Type-C, and Oppo says a full recharge of both the earbuds and case takes roughly 90 minutes.
For durability, the earbuds come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance and also carry TÜV Rheinland certification for battery durability.
