Oppo is all set to bring a new A-series phone to the spotlight, and this time it’s the Oppo A6s Pro. The company has officially confirmed that the phone will launch in China on April 14 at 2:30pm local time, which is 12:00pm IST. What’s interesting is that Oppo hasn’t waited for launch day to build hype, pre-orders are already live across multiple platforms.

Launch Is Locked And Pre Orders Are Already Rolling

The confirmation came via Oppo’s Weibo handle, along with a teaser that gives a glimpse of the phone’s design. If you’re someone who likes jumping in early, Oppo is offering a free one-year extended warranty to those who pre-book the device. It’s not a massive perk, but it’s still a nice add-on.

Familiar Look With A Slight Twist

From what we’ve seen so far, the Oppo A6s Pro doesn’t try to do anything too wild with its design. You get a clean back with a dual camera setup, and that’s about it. That said, the silver variant with a dual-tone finish does add a bit of personality, while the blue option keeps things more subtle.

Not Entirely New And That’s Not A Bad Thing

Here’s the thing. This phone has already launched in markets like Pakistan, so we already know what Oppo is bringing to the table. And honestly, it looks like a pretty safe, balanced package.

You’re getting a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which should feel smooth whether you’re scrolling or watching content. Brightness goes up to 1,400 nits, so outdoor usage shouldn’t be a struggle.

Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Max chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. This is clearly not about pushing limits, it’s more about keeping everyday performance stable and reliable.

Where It Actually Gets Interesting

The camera setup is straightforward on paper, a 50-megapixel main sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary lens. But the front camera is where Oppo is trying to stand out. You get a 50-megapixel selfie shooter, which is not something you see every day in this segment.

And then there’s the battery. A 7,000mAh unit is massive by any standard, and with 80W fast charging, it’s not just about lasting long, it’s also about getting back up quickly when you do run low.

You also get an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP69K rating, which means the phone is built to handle dust and water better than most in this range.

Pricing Will Decide Everything

In Pakistan, the phone is priced at around Rs. 33,000 when converted, and chances are China pricing will land somewhere close to that. If Oppo manages to keep it aggressive, this could turn into a very easy recommendation.

So What’s The Vibe

The Oppo A6s Pro doesn’t scream innovation, and maybe that’s the point. It plays it safe, but it covers the basics really well. A smooth display, a big battery, and a surprisingly strong front camera. Now it really comes down to pricing and how Oppo positions it against the competition.
