Nothing seems to have another smartphone launch lined up for India, and this one could be aimed at buyers looking for something more affordable.
The company has shared a new teaser on X, hinting at a device carrying the "4b" branding. Nothing hasn't officially named the phone yet, but all signs currently point towards it launching as the Nothing Phone 4b.

The teaser itself doesn't reveal much, but the timing is interesting.
A New Phone Appears As CMF Steps Back
The development comes shortly after reports claimed that CMF has shifted its existing smartphone projects to Nothing. If that's true, the upcoming device could be one of the first products to emerge from that transition.

That theory gained more attention after CMF confirmed it won't launch a new smartphone this year. The company has also pushed back plans for a successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro, leaving a noticeable gap in the affordable smartphone segment that Nothing could now be looking to fill.
While there's no official confirmation connecting the two developments, the pieces seem to fit together.
The Teaser Reveals A Familiar Nothing Touch
Nothing's teaser ends with a pencil marked "4b", which appears to be the biggest hint yet about the phone's branding.
The company has also put up a dedicated Flipkart microsite, confirming that the device will be available in India once it launches.
As for the design, Nothing doesn't seem to be abandoning the look that helped make its phones instantly recognisable. The teaser shows a transparent rear panel with exposed screws and design elements visible underneath.
One thing that stands out, however, is the camera setup.
Unlike recent Nothing and CMF phones that featured multiple rear cameras, the upcoming handset appears to have a single camera sensor on the back. That alone suggests the company could be targeting a lower price segment with this device.
What Happens Next?
At the moment, Nothing is keeping the important details under wraps. There's no word yet on specifications, pricing or an exact launch date.
What we do know is that the company isn't planning to launch a flagship smartphone this year. Instead, its focus appears to be on expanding the lower and mid-range parts of its portfolio.

That's why the Phone 4b could end up being a more important launch than its name suggests. If CMF's projects are indeed moving under the Nothing brand, this device may offer an early look at how the company plans to approach the affordable smartphone market going forward.
For now, all we have is a teaser, a Flipkart page and a growing list of clues. The full picture should become clearer soon.
