Samsung appears to be getting ready to enter the smart glasses market. The company is now expected to launch its first AI-powered Galaxy Glasses in November, with the wearable set to arrive in select markets around the world.

The November launch was confirmed by Samsung in a statement to The Korea Herald, which was translated from Korean. However, there is still quite a bit that Samsung has not revealed, including how much the glasses will cost and exactly where buyers will be able to get them.

That information could be announced alongside the launch next month.

Samsung Galaxy Glasses Could Arrive in Select Markets

The Galaxy Glasses have already made a couple of appearances this year. Samsung first revealed that it was working on smart glasses during the Google I/O 2026 keynote. A more detailed look followed at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, where the company showed the design and talked about what the wearable can do.

Samsung is working with eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker on the glasses. Despite showing the product publicly, Samsung has not yet named the markets where it plans to sell them. For now, the company has only confirmed that the Galaxy Glasses will be released in limited markets.

The November launch would mark Samsung's move into a category that has been gaining attention with products such as the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 smart glasses.

What Can the Samsung Galaxy Glasses Do?

There is no display mentioned for the Galaxy Glasses. Instead, much of the experience revolves around the camera, audio hardware and AI.

The glasses are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset and have a built-in camera that can understand the user's surroundings. This allows the wearable to respond to questions using visual information from what the wearer is looking at.

Google's Gemini will handle the AI side of the experience. Samsung says the assistant can do more than simply answer questions, with tasks such as making restaurant reservations also part of the experience.

The glasses are designed to work as a hands-free device as well. A built-in microphone and speaker let users make calls and listen to music without taking out their phone.

Battery life is another area where Samsung has provided some numbers. The Galaxy Glasses are claimed to last for up to nine hours on a single charge. The wireless charging case can reportedly provide up to seven additional full charges.

Samsung Galaxy Glasses Price and Availability

Samsung has not announced the price of the Galaxy Glasses yet. The company is expected to share that information when the wearable officially debuts in November.

The same launch should also clarify where the glasses will be sold. For now, Samsung has only confirmed that availability will be limited to select global markets, so it remains unclear whether the wearable will be available in India at launch.
